GOODMAN APPRAISAL SERVICES
Currently there is no regulatory body requiring appraiser certification or accreditation.
And - there is no government testing or standards for our profession. It's very important to find an appraiser who has professional training in:
• Law & Appraisal Theory
• Principles & Ethics
• Product Knowledge
• Proper Appraisal Procedures
Terra Goodman has successfully completed this very training. She is certified in fine and decorative arts through Sotheby's Auction House where she studied American and European furniture and decorative arts. Terra is the only Sotheby's, New York trained appraiser in Oregon.
Terra is accredited in theory and appraisal practice through the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and is affiliated with many organizations within the arts.
Terra is a generalist appraiser, possessing a thorough knowledge of home furnishings including antiques and collectibles. Her objective is to make an accurate, impartial, and informed valuation of each object based on its true market value.
"I want to thank you for the work you did for us. The report was more than I expected. You included a clear explanation and every word was easy to read and understand."
- Debbie Clark
